With Nancy Fallon and Melanie Kaffl
Saturday, August 9th, 1:00-4:30pm
$65/person
Join yoga teacher Nancy Fallon and Ceramic Artist Melanie Kaffl for an experience to remember! Indulge in a luxurious 1.5 hour yoga practice, meant to drown out the noise in your brain, followed by an opportunity to melt anxiety through creative expression!
The yoga practice will guide you through gentle movement & relaxing myofascial release, followed by several restorative poses, and a meditation to drop into deep relaxation. We’ll have a short break for refreshments and to wake up enough to engage in creating a beautiful trinket dish of your choice with instruction, but mostly, allow your meditative state to guide your creative hand!
Kids Yoga in the Park (Grades K-5) (scroll down to register)
At Millard Cooper Park in Sykesville
with Nancy Fallon
August Session: Saturday, 10:00- 10:45 am
8/9, 8/16, 8/23, 8/30
$60/session
Join Nancy for kid’s yoga in the park this summer! This class is designed to foster self-love, self- confidence, and self-regulation through play and creativity. Dance, wiggle, do yoga, play games, and learn techniques to regulate emotions as well as the nervous system. Your child will learn to implement yoga’s “sacred pause,” which gives us the power of choice: when we can slow down in moments of high emotion, we can calm our bodies and minds, and from that place we are able to take intentional action.
Flow and Restore (scroll down to register)
At the Bluebird Yoga office in Eldersburg or Virtual
with Kristin Cook
August Session:
5:30-6:30pm, Tuesdays in August, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19, 8/26
$80/session
Join Kristin to melt the accumulation of daily tension with a beautiful mixture of movement and rest. During the first half of class, give your body what it wants: progress through a gentle warm up into a creative yoga flow; open your joints, fire up the core, flow and stretch, breathe and work. Then, transition into what your body needs: myofascial release for tight muscles, followed by restful, restorative poses to calm the nervous system and melt away stress.
