Join Kristin Cook for this 5-week series ideal for beginners of all backgrounds, all bodies, and all experiences. As a certified trauma-informed yoga teacher, Kristin introduces the foundations of yoga in an accessible and inclusive format so that you can begin to experience its transformational effects. Learn yoga postures to meet your individual needs, while developing strength, mobility, and balance. Each session will incorporate breathwork, yogic philosophy, and meditation-all of which you can begin to integrate into your daily life.
What to expect:
Low-impact movements
Participants will get up and down from the floor
Minimal transitions between sitting, standing, and lying down
Chair modifications can be offered for some movements

Children ages 3-5, along with a caregiver, will explore movement and breathwork through imagination, stories, songs, and play. Explore emotional regulation and body-based calming strategies through co-regulation together to build practical tools to use during moments of upset outside of class.
What to expect:-All are welcome
-Lots of dynamic movement
-No yoga mats needed
-Caregiver must attend with child

Children ages 6-10 will develop body and breath awareness through movement, partner poses, and games. Children will learn to connect breath with movement through yoga poses, relaxation techniques, and breathwork, as well as foster social skills through games and partner poses. We will engage in fun, imaginatively themed classes that integrate music, props, and stories.

-Bring your own yoga mat or borrow from the studio
